do recipe instructions end with "serve"? Do they really think you're just going to put your results on a pedestal for all to admire or something? Just wondering.
No, it's a tennis thing. The proper way to handle most recipes is to toss them up in the air and smash them with a racquet, thus ensuring they reach their intended destination at approximately a hundred miles an hour.
Yes, I've encountered recipes that deserved to be smashed...or maybe anyone eating them needed to be smashed. This was NOT one of those recipes, however. It's entirely too good, even if it is gluten free. Who'da thunk gluten free chocolate muffins would be sooooo tasty?
Perhaps they think you intend to take a picture for a glossy magazine. Lots of that going on you know.
